What is Data Science?
Data Science is a blend of various tools, algorithms, and machine learning principles with the goal to discover hidden patterns from the raw data. Basically, data science is the process of extracting value from data and it usually requires an understanding of scientific methods and processes. As with other forms of experiments, data science requires you to make observations, ask questions, form hypotheses, create tests, analyze results, and come up with practical recommendations.
So, Data Science is primarily used to make decisions and predictions making use of predictive causal analytics, prescriptive analytics (predictive plus decision science), and machine learning.
About Machine Learning
Machine learning is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning focuses on the development of computer programs that can access data and use it to learn for themselves.
This process of learning always begins with observations or data, such as direct experience, examples, or instruction, in order to look for patterns in data and make better decisions in the future based on the examples that we provide.
The primary aim is to allow the computers to learn automatically without human intervention or assistance and adjust actions accordingly. However, using the classic algorithms of machine learning, the text is considered as a sequence of keywords.
